Wardrobe post 2014: Lolita clothing

Hello!
As every january, "wardrobe" is chosen as the monthly theme on EGL. I am sure most of you know this. I already joined in years 2011 and 2012 (also with casual wardrobe post) on our czech comm web. Last year I somehow missed it, I was moving in my new apartment and had no time for puting all my clothes out of the wardrobe, when I was happy that I finally put it in. :D
Today I am here to show you what survive all my clean outs. I got quite picky last years and if the item did not fit perfectly (I feed up haha) or is bad sewn I don´t want to own it, even if it look great on photos.

Old blue OP, handmade by Proxima
I like this dress very much because they are super comfy. I wear them a lot even out of lolita just in some otome kei-ish style without petti.
 Cherubin JSK form Lady Sloth
My only "painting print" dress. I wish I can get more of those... They also look good without petti and have quite "muggle" feeling so I would not be afraid to use them as an evening dress good for theatre.
Romantic Rose JSK long version from Innocent World
My latest baby! I was finally lucky enough to get long version dress from IW... and it was the best purchase I ever did. It fit me absolutely perfect. :)

Innocent world JSK, that I was never able to find it's actual name... it's not on Hello Lace or Lolibrary, but people call it just Angel Rose JSK, because of the print... it's propably kinda old like from 2005 or something. I love this dress even if they are super short on me to be a proper lolita lenght. I also wear them without petti like a casual dress...

Puppy skirt long version from Innocent World
My first real brand item, I am first owner. I bought it in sales, because I love dachshunds! I didn't wear it at least a year but I still like it very much and I don't want to put it away. This is my only sweet item in wardrobe.

Antique pink rose skirt from Ophelia without eye (now Rabbit Heart)
This one  is one of my first lolita items and it survived all my clean outs. I already have it over five years and it still look very pretty. It also had an accident, when my brother put on in some shirt wet from bleach by mistake, so the skirt had some quite big white spots on. Now they are covered with two ribbons on side and still looking nice.

High wais skirt from Bodyline
I fall in love with this skirt because of Zeruda. I love the colours and I it took me a long time to bought it, because when I wanted it, they did not sell it on BL web. But I was lucky enough to buy it on comm_sales. About a month after I got it, BL did a restock of this skirt... I was pretty upset. :D

Japanese garden skirt from Danielle
What shoud I say... it's a gorgeous fabric! I don't even have anything else in green colour in my wardrobe, just this epic...

Black skirt from Ophelia without eye (now Rabbit Heart)
Solid colour skirt. Need of every lolita. I need this skirt in navy, bordeaux and cream colors too. I hope I can manage to buy at least some of them this year... It look great with corset, you can use it under your way too short dress to make it look longer and also nicer... need more!

Rose skirt from Bodyline
I have this skirt for quite long time. I wanted to sell it several times but it will not get me much money so I still keep it myself. :D

My blouses. I hate most of them because they are not comfy or they are crumpled all the time, etc... :D Most of them are second hand finds with really no brand name... I have some from Pimkie, from Quelle (that not exist anymore) and one from Anna House.

 Monster A-shape petticoat from Danielle

White small poof A-shape petticoat from Porcelain Doll

Bunch of bloomers from Porcelain Doll, Metamorphose and handmade by my friends Maxé and rouwi.

And that's pretty much it. Everything I have that I consider being lolita items. :)
All my accessories will be shown in another post, because I have tons of it and this post is already long enough. I have to photo some of my headpieces first...
Also I took photos of my causal dresses and skirts so yay I have a lot of material. :)

See you next time. :)

Tights collection

Hello!
How are you? I have a day off today and I decided to write a little article about my tights because I love them and I will never have enough of them in my wardrobe.

Most of the time I wear skirts or dresses, so tights are the best way how to change the whole look very easily and you don't have to own a milion of different skirts. :D

In my fashion life I already own many and many tights. Unfortunately I am also a big tights ripper. I hope I am not the only one... It always makes me sad, when I find out, that there is a hole on my favourite tights... just because all of them are my favourite!

I am in love with latest trend of printed tights. Sadly my tallness is once again a handicap, because most of those beauties are way too short for me.  So I don't have any, because I just don't know if the size will be okay for me and I don't want to buy them just to try it on and then sell...  Most of the time the size is "universal"... but universal for asians... >_>
If you know about some shop (shipping to Czech Republic) that make printed and fake tattoo tights and are suited for person with 177 cm please let me know!

Now I show you my small collection.
The tights, that survived all the ripping...

okay...
Two of those are in fact leggins ... and huh? I ruined all of my black dotted tights already?  Also need more black tights with stripes, just for sure... they look great with steampunk and lolita outfits.

I still need some chocolate brown and wine red solid colour tights....

I think that everyone who's into lolita fashion must be a hosiery freak.
So what your collection looks like?

Innocent World Tea Party in Vienna

Hello!
I would like to share some of my thoughts about IW Tea Party that was last Saturday (12.10.) in Vienna. :)

I have too many feelings about this party, so I am going to write my post in different way this time. I would write a whole book about it so I rather summarize it in some short messages. And it will be a long post anyway. :D
  • I was lucky enough that czech brand Classy Lady invited me to be her shopgirl at the event. Otherwise I would never get enough money to participate.
  • I was nervous about my outfit not being good enough and I changed the whole look many times before I was fully satisfied.
  • On Saturday I have to get up early (at 7:00), because we had to arrive to Vienna before 11:00 and prepared our stall.
  • In Austria  they have fields with pumkins. I was amazed, because I never saw them before... :)
  • When we arrived to Vienna we saw lolitas all around. It was awesome! This is how it would look like when lolita fashion become mainsteam. No regrets really... :D
  • At hotel Stefanie we met some girls from organization team. They all were very nice and helpful. We have to wait few minutes before the main room was opened for us, so we talked for a while with Pierrette from Porcelain Doll. :)
Pet-chan and Classy Lady
  • After 11:00 all the organization relocate to main room. Everyone was either building stalls or organize the room and preparing fashion show.
  • Innocent World had a lot of dresses, coats, some bags and socks and other accessories to sell. Of course I wanted to take a closer look. All of the prints were really amazing and the fabric was very very soft. I never saw such fabric before. (but I did not have the opportunity to touch many brand items :D)
Chaos before the start.
(Freitagsgass1 98617Meinungen www.MeFotografie.com)
  • At 13:00 the Tea Party started for VIP guests. Almost all of them went straight to Innocent World stall and bought a lot of things. Almost all the bags and many dresses vere sold after that. The prices was like those on web but without shipping and customs it was great deal.
  • At 14:00 the rest ot guests were let in.
  • Everyone looked gorgeous! And I didn't feel underdressed! Win for me yay! :D
  • My outfit and extra bad light :D Sadly I do not have other photo of full outfit.
(and I wouldn´t wear the socks next time, they are too flashy...)
  • I never saw so many brand items and very well dressed lolitas in one place. *_*
  • Almost everyone was wearing Innocent World but I saw also some AP, AatP, Baby, Mary Magdalene and even Bodyline. I saw many many many amazing headpieces, most of them was flowers but also pretty hats and even some deer antlers, books or porcelain cups. *_*
  • Here are some links to photo galleries:

  • I love classic lolita aesthetics so I was like  in lolita heaven... :D
  • At 15:00 the fashion show started. It was lovely and well moderate in great english by one of the organization team member Dagmar. We can saw some designs for the first time! And all the dresses were for sale after the fashion show. Please take a look here:

  • At 15:30 Lolita KompleX unplugged started. Sadly I didn't hear them very well at the stall but I saw some fans to really enjoy the mini concert. :)
  • At 16:00  started Q&A with the main guest Yumi Fujiwara. Once again I did not hear everything but I heared that she is too shy to make friends and that she visited Czechia before. :) You can read everything here (in german, but it's quite easy to translate it with only begginers knowledge): Innocent World Tea Party in Wien: Q&A
Me with Ms. Fujiwara. :) She is quite tall :)
  • It sounds like there were like at least 50 prices for the raffle. We heard only "and the next one"  around and around. :D Ms Fujiwara then picked three lolitas with great outfits... It was really hard because everyone had great outfits, so I guess she picked them by circumstance. I don´t even know what they got for a price...
  • I got several compliments about how my hair (well a wig) is styled. :)
  • We sold some dresses and skirts. But our model range was specialized for czech market (simple and cheap) so it did not sell very well in Vienna, where is totally different inquiry. Our bad, we should predicted it... Classy Lady will now work on a change in her assortment to be more tempting for international customers. Lot of original "prints"! Stay tuned! :)
At the stall and true colours of my outfit! :)
(Freitagsgass1 98617Meinungen www.MeFotografie.com)
  • At 18:00 was the end but nobody wanted to leave... :D
  • Also it was the first time I saw Lady Sloth´s owner. I own one of her cherubin JSK and I think she have great items. She was nice and everything but she perhaps is not interested in lolita fashion the other way than bussiness. I think it´s perfectly fine, but when Ms Fujiwara came to her stall and wanted to buy (and bought at the end) one of her chiffon blouse with note lace, I would definitely take at least a photo of her. It would be a great advertising. I myself would feel honored, that someone like main designer of well known japanese brand like my goods so much, that she actually buy it. (when she can easily bought very similar one in Japan or design her own) EDIT: I missed the message about Lady Sloth´s cousine attending instead of her. It all makes sense now. :D
  • There was 50% off sale at the very end at IW stall, they really didn´t want to take anything back to Japan. :D
  • We were asked several times by Dagmar or Duplica if we have everything, we needed and if the party was okay for us. They really took care. :)
  • Unluckily I got a terrible headache in the end but I survived the drive back to our "hotel" in Czechia.
I would like to thank austrian and german lolitas that they decide to host this party. It was the best lolita event I ever attended. And I wish I can come back to Vienna for some other event soon. :)

Lolita Blog Carnival: 3 Trends You Could Never Get Into

Hello!
I am here with another Lolita Blog Carnival post.
I missed a lot of them this summer and some of them was really interesting so I think of doing them anyway just few weeks later.
Now to the three thrends, that will be kind of obvious for those who knows me at least a little...

Sweet OTT lolita

I love pastels ale cute things but sweet lolita is just way too childish for me and OTT... well you all know how it looks... Those AP hyper cute prints with sweets and toys, plush purses, silly headwear, etc... No, thank you. I kind of like it on other person, but never want to wear it myself.

Halloween lolita

It will be probably because we don´t celebrate this holiday in my country. So all these pumpkin, ghost, spooky prints are just good for nothing here... And buying print that you can wear only one day in whole year? Nope...

Lolita shoes

... especially with block heels. I just hate block heels, they don´t look elegant, not a bit... And almost all of lolita shoes have those... So I prefer regular shoes with spool or cone heels or sometimes even regular stilettos look much better with classic (or gothic, or hime) lolita than granny looking square block heels... ugh. Also I am big-foot lolita and the combination of platform and block heel just look monstrous in my shoe size... not speaking of  bubble shaped toe...

Lolita Blog Carnival: Tips for surviving the summer in Lolita

Hello again,
today I will try to resum some tips for wearing lolita in summer.
I live in middle Europe where it can be a really hot weather in summer months. (Super cold in winter also...)
I am sure that my list will be very similar to other participans in this LBC theme because there are not many ways to keep yourself away from overheating in lolita...

1. No blouse!
Wear OP or JSK with no blouse under it. Better not layering the outfit at all. Less layers less sweat. While wearing JSK you can put just light lace or crotchet bollero over it to keep the no bare shoulders rule.

2. No OTK, knee socks or tights
Hey, they are plenty of cute ankle socks out there, so there is no need of baking your legs. If you have some bruises (as I have most of time because of my clumsy nature) or some old scars (that don´t really look very elegant in classic :D), you need or want to hide, use cute patches. Lace tights are also not so bad choice for summer...

3. No bloomers...
Bloomers are awesome for winter for keeping you warm or keep your panties safe from pervy looks :D in windy days, but in summer they start to be annoymance. Do not wear them! If you have to because you will feel less lolita without them, try to get some short made from really light cotton. Well there is one positive about wearing bloomers in summer... you will not stick to seats in public transportation. :D

4. No wigs
If you can, don´t wear them and better style your own hair. If you have to wear it as I have to, since my hair don´t match my lolita clothes at all and are kinda unshapable (no I don´t know if this word even exist :D) try to style your wig so that at least your neck can stay cool.

5. Use parasols, hats, fans and sunglasses
This is how you can keep away from burning sun and looking fabulous.

My outfit from last year summer meetup.

6. Use sunblock and body splash
Keep your skin safe with right sunblock and cool yourself with some refreshing fruity smelling body splash.

7. Light makeup
I have no idea what brand of makeup you have to wear so it will stay on your face on hot day. Once you start to sweating most of it just run away. Do just light makeup that you can easily recover. If you have some photoshooting on your meetup, bring yourself at least a face powder. Use it before taking photos and you will not be red and shining...

8. Jewellry and accessories
Try to keep the number down. You will sweat under every item and you can damage it because of that.(like your rings will turn black or green, etc.)

Outfit: Gothic lolita with transparent dress

Hello there!
I am here with another outfit post. If you follow me on Lookbook you already saw it but I almost forget to post it here with some other photos.

One day I listened to one of my youtube playlists and then this mmv showed up.

As soon as I see this video I just have to dress in lolita. It's so ultimate lolita video for me. The music is so nice and Momoko is awesome indeed. It always make me want to feel all the frills and lace and huge petti on my body. Only because of that I pull out my corset and Meta skirt out of my wardrobe and dress up after a long time. Once again I feel proud and super modest. I almost forgot how beautiful this feeling is and I am glad that this video remind me how I can feel pretty in lolita again.

I used some layering in this outfit. I have a beautiful transparent dress from Rabbit Heart and because I didn't want to shine too much in white skirt I put it over it and full it a little so it got more gothic lolita feel. I have to think about more outfits with this dress.

Lolita Blog Carnival: Top 3 Wishlist Items

Hello!
I'm participating in another week of the Lolita Blog Carnival! Most of my readers already know, that just now I am in some lolita crisis, but I still like to dream about beautiful dresses.

I have a lot of brand dresses on my wishlist, some of them you can see here in a wishlist I made some time ago (sorry it's written in czech). This wishlist contains only dresses or skirts that I can fit into... which as you can learn, is not a great number. :D Sadly my favourite brand Victorian Maiden and Mary Magdalene are super tiny for me. Well at least my wishlist is smaller and I can safe some money because of my size. :D

Sot there are some other lolita clothes I would love to get in my closet (if I won a milion dolars) :D.  I focus on printed dresses only this time. Well let's see what I choose.

Roman Sweet Secret Audrey JSK in blue by Baby, the stars shine bright

I love the movie Roman holiday and Audrey Hepburn is one of my ultimate fav actress so, how can I possibly not fall in love with this dress? What I love the most about this dress are the real pictures from the film. They may be consider like a regular fandom dress, but still look amazing. :D

Elizabethe - Bride of the Death JSK in black by Alice ans the Pirates
http://www.babyssb.co.jp/shopping/ap/jumper/109P204/109P204-b.jpg
http://www.babyssb.co.jp/reserve/elisabeth/kiji/b.jpghttp://www.babyssb.co.jp/reserve/elisabeth/kiji/iv.jpg
http://uploads4.wikipaintings.org/images/franz-xaver-winterhalter/empress-elisabeth-of-austria-in-dancing-dress.jpg

This dress amazed me with its reference to Empress Sissi (Elizabeth of Austria, Czech Queen :)) and Austro-Hungarian Empire, which is very linked with history of my home country. I wish I can have a dress with part of history on it! *_* The design is very beautiful. I love the black-red-gold combination.

Mucha Sleeveles dress in brown and long version by Innocent World

Another czech reference. :) Alfons Mucha is very famous artist and I am one of his admirer too. This dress has great design, plain cut with simple lace decor so the pictures can excel.  Innocent World designers show us that, there is another way to put paintings on dresses and it's a nice way.

And I am still looking for my perfect classic unicorn dress,...
What is on your wishlist?

Lolitagasm from F+F

Hello!
How are you? I am still in some part-time lolita crisis. I still love lolita but lately I rather just listing through shops and photos than actually wear it. I did some huge closet cleaning, because lots of lovely lolita clothes was just hanging in my wardrobe and even I still like them I did not wear them. I need some new blood so the old one had to go.
Despite of my huge brand dreamdress list I decided to visit Fan + Friend site too. I was impressed how they are keeping up with trends.
My favourite piece is Baroque Pipe Organ dress in gray x black.

http://fanchaos.com/fanplusfriend/c5/DR00155_09.jpg

Also this Time Traveler steampunk lolita dress are pretty awesome. I love the belts! And even if blue is always my favourite colour this time wins beige version.
http://neo-ludwig.com/c4/DR00157_04.jpg

This rococo themed two piece dress charmed me. I wish for such dress in a long time. Big brands made plenty of very similar hime lolita dresses but this dress are special in one thing and that is the underskirt you can easily change for another skirt you own and you got absolutely different look. You can even go for proper rococo costume with long skirt. :) I just can't decide what colour would be best for me.
http://fanchaos.com/fanplusfriend/c5/CT00150_02.jpg

Another rococo piece. Great under dress and chemise robe is my latest idea for my wedding dress... just long with regular wide ruffle sleeves, made from chiffon and with blue ribbon in waist...
http://fanchaos.com/fanplusfriend/c7/Classical_Loliat_Square_Neckline_6_10_Length_Sleeves_Dress_OP_Knee_Length_DR00146_01.jpg

Sadly I am not going to buy any of those beauties, I have something different on it's way to me. I show you some other day.
